Head past the big Tombaugh globe and up the stairs directly in front of you to find a hologram. You'll now enter the "TOMBAUGH FACILITY". Continue through either of the doors on either side of the "TOMBAUGH" sign in front of you, as they both lead to the same area. Now you can leisurely stroll through the machines (with all your metal) on your person. Send him through the baggage x-ray machine, and interact with the conduit on the left, ultimately disabling the security (for now). It's okay though, 'cause your ninja of a little buddy can get past security no problem.
You're now in a sort of airport security room where they won't let you through because you went and left your passport back on Earth. Head on up the stairs and turn left, followed by another left, up the stairs, and into the big room ahead with the blue floor panels. I suppose you can go through the airlock doors on the left. What do you mean you don't have a buggy? Fine. Head through here and park your buggy on the pressure pads. To the left, there is a big open vehicle bay with a dim orange light titled "TOMBAUGH". There is an oxygen box to your right that you can cut open if you need it. Then, make the final jump across the gap to the little broken orange/yellow ledge (there is a broken bridge to the left of this platform).
Jump up the block steps in front of you and around to the left. Line yourself up and jump onto the hanging platform, and then onto the platform to your right. Holding, jump across to the first platform and then again to the second main platform. Continue past the excavation machine and, at the end, you will pass an oxygen refill station (you know what to do here).
