Meant to break down the components of fashion, from the power of patterns to the origin of your favorite textile, the exhibit invites attendees to don their favorite garb while sashaying down a runway or snap a selfie while wearing a paper-doll cutout, in the middle of a neighborhood that’s long been known as a fashion hub of the District. The team at Design Foundry, a creative company whose team of designers, craftspeople, and artisans produces engaging events, just unveiled Inside the Wardrobe, a 20,000-square-foot walk-through installation with more than 20 different experiences that are immersive, interactive-and absolutely Instagrammable.
